Wednesday, May 16thMorningGlen Alps to Powerline PassWell, for those of you who just can't get enough, the crust skiing in Powerline valley is excellent. The trail from the parking lot is pretty lumpy, and there is a gravel section that you'll need to walk, but up valley - smooth sailing. Start from the Glen Alps trailhead by about 9:00 am to avoid mushy conditions on the return. Jim

Thursday, May 3rdMorningFrom Church to NNTI skied Thursday around 11:00 am and was surprised with how nicely it skied. Not perfectly flat but skating was OK around the whole loop. The twin bridges at the church make crossing there a little dicey. With current conditions grooming is probably done for the season. Lots of tree debris out there which slows you down. The Resort snow cat groomed the whole loop a week ago. The return portion is still kind of tricky but gives you an idea of how it will ski in the future. Enjoy the snow at the right time of day. Try to be there as it is starting to soften if we have a cold night. pz
