    North of the Alyeska Hotel
    The 5K Multi-use trail system will begin construction this week!!! We ask that you stay clear of the construction area for your own safety. This construction will last approximately 4 weeks. If you have any questions, please send the Nordic Club an email. Thanks, Deb

    Morning
    Glacier Valley trails
    Went out on a loop around the lower valley this morning. Pallet Trail is about knee deep in the utility easment (open canopy) Beaver Pond trail is becoming passable, snow free from the arch bridge to the bike trail. I returned back up Iditarod coridor. Lots of water from those pesky beavers! A bit of snow above the dump to the disc golf course. Fun run if you love water and mud! Burntski

    Center Ridge-Turnagain Pass
    Great crust skiing up at the pass with fantastic snow coverage. We parked at the non-motorized lot, headed up to the weather station, and rolled over into the Tincan Creek drainage. Made it up to the base of Kickstep at the head of the valley. We started skiing at 9am, back at the truck by 12:30pm. Large rain runnels between 2000 and 2500 feet elevation, but great snow conditions.--Lisa

    Glen Alps
    It's not over yet. I've heard that the 'far meadows' in Girdwood are still fun, plus crust skiing at Glen Alps is a hoot. Plan to start your ski at Glen Alps before 9:00 am. The first couple of miles are lumpy, but once up valley the skiing is fast and fun. Jim B

    Recent Grooming - Saturday night
    Groomed all ski trails last night. We didn't get much snow last night so they should be skiing great. Filled in some low spots below Horror Hill and widened the trail where it was getting a little narrow. Point'em downhill and let them ride. Also removed the branches littering the trail in the Enchanted Forest. What's up with the campfire? Cattrack looked like it was in pretty good shape, as well. Sven

    Groomed all trails tonight. Upper valley trails turned out really nice and Moose Meadows is O.K. - could use a little more work. Sean
